Xenia has been a lifelong animal lover. From an early age their family took on all the lost and thrown out animals in and around the neighborhood. Before there were rescues, we just collected all the unwanted dogs and cats. We even had a dog named Freeway who was found on the very the busy 101. We had dogs, cats, snakes, birds, even a tarantula named Chumley. After school outings included trips to Coyote Point to see the animals at the SPCA. Today that love and compassion has instilled a desire to understand, communicate, and teach animals to be their best and happiest selves. Xenia believes in treating animals with respect and kindness first and foremost.
Xenia has worked in rescue for over 10 years starting with Rocket Dog Rescue. Xenia has fostered over 50 dogs with RDR and currently fosters/trains with Dynamic Duo, Grateful Dog, Copper’s Dream and Tiger’s Heart. Xenia has multiple certifications including but not limited to CPCCD, and CPR.
